The SmartFlow® filter WORKS™ Isolation of a secreted protein by continuous cell diafiltration optimization procedure from SFT is intended for high cell density fermentation such as Pichia pastoris, fed batch E. coli and cases where the secreted protein is extremely large or forms complexes such as tetramers and pentamers of the target molecule. The procedure is also beneficial with high levels of antifoam and detergents. In addition, this procedure is highly adaptive to simultaneously microfiltration-ultrafiltration processes.
